Our Story
How It All Started
For decades, tree maintenance and urban forestry have relied heavily on manual labor. Workers face immense risks climbing high altitudes, operating heavy chainsaws, and dealing with unpredictable falling branches. We noticed a striking gap: while manufacturing and logistics rapidly adopted robotics, the hazardous work of arboriculture remained largely unchanged.
ArborTech was founded by a group of passionate engineers who saw an opportunity to save lives and improve efficiency. We asked ourselves, "What if we could remove the human from the danger zone entirely?"
Combining expertise in industrial robotics, computer vision, and AI, we developed the Auto-Tree Pruning System. Our solution mounts a highly articulate robotic arm with an integrated chainsaw directly onto standard cherry pickers, completely eliminating the need for operators to be near the cutting zone. Today, we are proud to offer a system that brings unprecedented safety to tree care professionals.
